How ranking works
- Numbers come from daily usage rollups the extension builds from local Claude Code and Codex session logs.
- Cost is API-equivalent: tokens priced at each model's public list price. On a subscription it is what the usage would cost at API rates, not what you paid.
- Server-side checks recompute cost from the token counts and hold back implausible days. The top of each board is reviewed by hand, and reviewed profiles carry a verified mark.
What is shared
Per day and per model: token counts, API-equivalent cost, request count, active minutes and turn count. Project names, file paths, prompts and code never leave your machine. You choose to appear under a username, as an anonymous entry, or not at all. Full details in the privacy policy.
How to join
Coming soon: the Leaderboard tab ships in the next extension release. Then: Install Claude Code and Codex Assist in VS Code, open its Leaderboard tab, sign in with your email and pick a username and visibility. Your history is uploaded once, then kept current in the background. Turning sharing off takes you off the board straight away.
