Introduction
These terms govern your use of Claude Code and Codex Assist, an unofficial, community-created VS Code extension and related website services.
Unofficial Project
Claude Code and Codex Assist is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Anthropic, OpenAI, Claude AI, Codex, Microsoft, or VS Code. Product names belong to their respective owners.
Your Data
The extension is designed to process your Claude Code and Codex history locally. Optional account, device linking, subscription, error reporting, and statistics features may send limited data to ccassist.dev only when required for those features. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Premium Purchases
Premium unlocks paid extension features for the plan shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Polar.sh. You are responsible for using the correct purchase email when buying or restoring access.
Refunds
If Claude Code and Codex Assist does not work for your workflow, email [email protected] within 7 days of purchase to request a refund.
Acceptable Use
Do not abuse the website, APIs, licensing system, payment flow, or device linking system. Do not attempt to bypass premium checks or interfere with service availability for other users.
No Warranty
The extension and website are provided as-is. They may contain bugs, change over time, or stop working with future changes to third-party tools. To the maximum extent allowed by law, there are no warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.
